High pressure hose connection form and conical sealing precautions

First, the hose joint form can be roughly divided into internal thread form and external thread form

1) Internal thread form

This structure is generally suitable for the occasion of relatively low working pressure and large flow. This connection allows the diameter of the hose to increase appropriately, and its sealing depends mainly on the sealing ring.

2) External thread form

This structure is mainly used under high pressure conditions, mostly used when the working pressure exceeds 1800bar. In this connection mode, the locking nut is pressed by the external thread connector, so that the conical sealing surface of the pipe segment is closely fitted to the sealing surface of the connector, and plays a sealing role. The connected parts can also be spray accessories, such as high-pressure spray guns, flat cleaning nozzles, three-dimensional rotating nozzles, etc., and other high-pressure hose. This connection method can effectively prevent the connection loosening under complex construction conditions.

Second, the hose assembly with conical seal precautions

1) The cone Angle of this connection is 60 degrees, and the cone Angle of the tube end is generally less than 1 degree of the cone Angle;

2) The position of the tube end must be kept sharp and cannot be blunted;

3) The direction of the thread between the pipe end and the lock nut should be opposite to the external thread joint;

4) When processing the joint, the drainage hole should be reserved at the seal to prevent high-pressure water leakage when the cone seal is not tight. This can not only play the role of safety warning, but also facilitate observation and judgment, so as to better protect the sealing surface from damage.
