With the gradual improvement of the rubber process, the types of rubber hoses are also increasing, but so far, we are often classified according to the high pressure and low pressure of the rubber hose. What are the advantages of this?

Let's start with the criteria for their classification. According to the classification standard, when the maximum pressure that the hose can withstand is not higher than 1.6MPa, it belongs to the range of low-pressure hose, and if the maximum pressure capacity of the hose exceeds 10MPa, it does not exceed 100MPa, it belongs to the high-pressure hose. Between the two belongs to the medium pressure hose. If the maximum working pressure exceeds 100MPa, it is an ultra-high pressure hose.

Distinguish by use. Take the use of nitrile rubber hose in automobiles as an example. The pressure that high pressure nitrile hose and low pressure hose can withstand is different, so the place where they are applied is not the same. Therefore, the low pressure hose is mainly used for the oil suction port with low pressure, which belongs to the input end. The high-pressure hose is applied to the oil transmission end of the large pressure, which can quickly output fuel for the equipment and ensure the good operation of the machinery.

Distinguish from the process. The production process of high pressure hose is more complicated than that of low pressure hose. The low pressure hose only needs to be clamped or cloth in the skeleton layer to increase its pressure resistance, but these measures are not enough for the high pressure hose. It is necessary to add some materials, such as canvas, polyester wire, steel wire, etc. to the skeleton layer of the high-pressure nitrile hose to increase the pressure resistance.

All in all, when we buy the hose, we must pay attention to the choice of pressure, if the pressure resistance of the hose is too large, it may reduce the work efficiency, if it is too small, it may cause the nitrile hose and other pipe body cracks or even rupture failure.
