First, what is high pressure hose

High pressure pipe is a kind of pipe that can withstand high pressure, can use this pipe to transport liquid, according to the use of different materials, high pressure pipe can be divided into steel pipe, copper pipe and hose, etc., of which high pressure hose is mainly used for mine hydraulic support and oilfield development, It is suitable for engineering construction, lifting and transportation, metallurgy and forging, mining equipment, ships, injection molding machinery, agricultural machinery, various machine tools, as well as mechanization and automatic hydraulic systems in various industrial sectors to transport petroleum based (such as mineral oil, soluble oil, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil) and water-based liquid (such as emulsion, oil-water emulsion, water) and other liquid transmission Also called hydraulic tubing, hydraulic hose, hydraulic hose, etc.

Second, the classification and application of high-pressure hose

According to the different production process, high pressure hose is mainly divided into high pressure steel wire braided tubing and high pressure steel wire wound tubing.

1, high pressure steel wire braided hose

The high pressure steel wire braided hose is mainly composed of liquid resistant synthetic rubber inner layer, middle rubber layer, Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ layer of steel wire braided layer and synthetic rubber outer layer. According to the design principle of high pressure hose, the Ⅲ layer braided hose does not play any role in the pressure of the hose, which is mainly used to increase the weight of the hose itself and reduce the flexibility of the hose.

The working temperature range of high pressure steel wire braided hose is as follows: oil -40℃ ~ 100℃, air -30℃ ~ 50℃, water emulsion +80℃ below. The specifications range from DN5mm to DN102mm.

2, high pressure steel wire winding hose

In recent years, due to the improvement of the pressure requirements of some hydraulic supports in the coal mine industry, some steel wire braided hose can not meet the performance requirements, so it is necessary to use steel wire wound hose. The structure of high pressure steel wire winding hose is mainly composed of an inner rubber layer, a middle rubber layer, a four-layer or multi-layer alternately winding steel wire reinforcement layer and an outer rubber layer, of which the inner rubber layer has the effect of making the conveying medium withstand pressure and protecting the steel wire from erosion, the outer rubber layer can protect the steel wire from damage, and the steel wire layer is the skeleton material and plays a strengthening role.

High pressure steel wire reinforced hydraulic tubing is mainly used for mine hydraulic support, oil field development, the working temperature of -40℃ ~ 120℃, the maximum working pressure can reach 70-120Mpa, product specifications in DN6mm ~ DN305mm.

Third, the selection of high-pressure hose

In addition to safe and reliable product quality, choosing the right hose products according to the needs of use is also an important factor to ensure the safety and reasonable of the entire system. The following points should be paid attention to when selecting high-pressure hose:

1, according to the pressure of the system, choose the number of steel wire layers of the hose, high pressure, more layers of steel wire. Each type of hose has a maximum working pressure, and the burst pressure of the hose is 4 times the maximum working pressure. Therefore, according to the actual system pressure, the maximum working pressure of the selected hose is larger than the actual working pressure.

2, choose the inner diameter of the hose according to the flow rate, the pipe diameter is too small will increase the flow rate of the medium in the pipe, make the system heat, reduce efficiency, and will produce too large pressure drop, affecting the performance of the entire system, the pipe diameter will increase the cost, so the inner diameter of the hose should be appropriate. When the hose is fixed with a pipe clamp or the hose passes through a spacer such as a steel plate, it is also necessary to pay attention to the outer diameter of the hose.

3, in the selection of high pressure hose should pay attention to the bending radius of the high pressure hose, calculate the bending radius should be subtracted from the front joint clamping length. If the bending radius of the installed hose is too small, the bearing capacity of the hose will be reduced and its life will be affected.
